Fresh Patch is an exclusively online service and is not available for purchase in physical stores. To place an order, simply visit our website at www.FreshPatch.com. Once your order is received, our warehouse team immediately begins the process of harvesting and custom-cutting the patch according to the size you have chosen. The patch will then be shipped to your provided address, where you can easily open the packaging or unroll the patch to start using it. 

When it's time to replace the patch, you have the option to dispose of it in your regular trash or use it for composting. However, please note that the compost can only be used for general landscaping purposes. Due to the presence of pet waste in the patch, it is not suitable for use in gardens that grow food. 

Fresh Patch Mini (16" x 12") - Recommended for dogs under 5 lbs. Comes with a disposable cardboard tray. Simply remove the lid and place it in your pet's designated potty area.

Fresh Patch Standard (16" x 24") - Recommended for dogs under 15 lbs. Comes with a disposable cardboard tray. Simply remove the lid and place it in your pet's designated potty area.

Fresh Patch Large Combo (24" x 24") - Recommended for dogs between 15-30 lbs. Comes with the grass pre-installed onto the tray. The Plastic Tray is a one time purchase. Keep the tray and receive your next grass deliveries rolled up in a box.  

Fresh Patch XL Combo (24" x 48") - The Fresh Patch XL (2' x 4' feet) is recommended for pets more than 30 lbs and for multi-pet households.The Fresh Patch XL Combo comes with the grass pre-installed onto the tray -- The Plastic Tray is a one time purchase. Keep the tray and receive your next grass deliveries rolled up in a box.

We recommend replacing your Fresh Patch every 1-4 weeks depending on the size of your pet and how frequently the product is being used.
We have plans offering delivery every week, every (2) weeks, every (3) weeks and every (4) weeks.
Switching between plans is easy once you setup an account with us!

Grown locally in Southern California, our hydroponically grown pet grass is soilless and 50% lighter than traditional grass.  We utilize several different kinds of grass including rye, blue, fescue, zoysia and bermuda.

Fresh Patch grass is safe if ingested, however, we do not advertise or market our grass as a food source.

We utilize several different kinds of grass including rye, blue, fescue, zoysia, and Bermuda. Our grass is 100% all-natural, grown in composted green material over a plastic sheet barrier, and we do not use any chemicals or pesticides.

Fresh Patch is designed to be very low maintenance. Since the urine is absorbed into the grassroots, it naturally helps eliminate odors, so frequent cleaning isn’t necessary. We recommend picking up any solids as soon as possible to prevent any smell.

For the best results, place the patch in a dry area with a few hours of indirect sunlight each day, such as near a window or on a covered porch. Lightly misting the patch with fresh water every few days will help keep it green longer. When it’s time for a change, simply roll up the patch and dispose of it in your regular trash.

The patch can last 1-4 weeks depending on the frequency of use and the dog's size. Our most popular plan is every 2 weeks.

Typically, if your pup is using it 1-2 times a day, it should last 3-4 weeks; if they use it 3 or more times a day, you should change it every 1-2 weeks.

This will change if your dog is larger or smaller than the suggested weight for the size of the patch you choose.

Fresh Patch ships from California (Monday - Friday).  California and West Coast orders generally take 1-2 business days to arrive. East Coast orders can take 3-5 business days.   Orders placed before 2:30 PM will ship the same day. 

**We recommend that East Coast customers place their orders on a Saturday, Sunday, or on Monday before our shipping cutoff (2:30pm PST / 5:30 EST).  This will ensure that your Fresh Patch will ship on a Monday and that it will not unnecessarily sit in a delivery truck over the weekend**

Fresh Patch is currently available in the United States with exception of Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii.

Most dogs get the hang of Fresh Patch immediately. We realize that there are some dogs stuck in their ways and we offer support in those instances. We don't believe in making our customers sign long term contracts.

You can cancel your service anytime by contacting us by phone (1-800-783-7109) or emailing (service@freshpatch.com).
You can also cancel your service by logging into the customer portal and selecting the "Manage Your Subscription" option.

Because of the nature of our product, once a shipment has been processed we are unable to accept returns or issue a refund for that shipment

If you keep your grass on your balcony or outdoors, we recommend covering the grass while it rains or moving it indoors. We would also recommend using one of our plastic trays.

If your order arrived damaged or you received the incorrect item please reach out to our customer service department so that we may remedy the situation as soon as possible. Customers have 30 days to request a refund. Anything after 30 days we cannot accept.

During the summer months it is possible you may encounter a bug in the grass. This is because our grass is a real, living plant that is grown outdoors. If you happen to see a bug we recommend spraying your grass with water and a few drops of dish soap.

Fresh Patch can be used indoors or outdoors. Common places are the Porch, Patio, Apartment, and Balcony.
