Canine Costumes Part 2

Need more ideas for your costume?  Or maybe you're not a  movie buff?  No worries!  While many people in relationships might choose to do a couples costume with their significant other, you can do a couples costume with your dog!  Totally not weird, more like adorable.  Here's some suggestions!

For Guys:

Steve(or Joe) and Blue - Perfect if you grew up in the generation where you watched Blue's Clues as a kid, but also perfect for now and still relevant.  There is safe temporary hair dye for your dog, or you can just rig up a costume.

Jake and Finn - Adventure Time is a pretty popular show right now, among kids, teens and adults.  So why not do this duo?

Scooby Doo and Shaggy - A classic that will never get old, it'll work perfectly if you have a Great Dane!

For Girls:

Daenerys Targaryen and one of her dragons - We all know how big Game of Thrones is right now.  (My old roommates were addicted.) So it would be quite the success to pull off this costume, just get some wings for your dog... and some fire-breathing powers.

Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf - Classic fairytale turned Halloween costume.  Perfect if you have a big dog, but awesomely ironic if you have a small dog.

Dorothy and Toto - How can you not do it?  It's ideal if you have some sort of device to carry your dog in, and even more ideal if you have a black Scottish terrier.

For Both:

A Bottle of Ketchup and a Hot Dog - Because, why not?  This costume is also ideal if your dog is, in fact, a wiener dog (aka dachshund)

So be cheesy!  Couples costumes don't only have to be for you and your significant other.  They can be for you and your furry best friend, too!  Go celebrate!
