Why should I try Fresh Patch?

What type of grass is it?

Grown locally in Southern California, our hydroponically grown pet grass is soilless and 50% lighter than traditional grass. We utilize several different kinds of grass including rye, blue, fescue, zoysia and bermuda.

What size is right for me?

The Fresh Patch Mini(16" x 12" inches), Fresh Patch Standard (16" x 24" inches), and Fresh Patch Large (24" x 24" inches) come in a fully functional, waxed cardboard box. Simply remove the lid and place the unit in your pet's designated potty area.

Fresh Patch XL
The Fresh Patch XL (2' x 4' feet) is recommended for pets more than 30 lbs and for multi-pet households.
The Fresh Patch XL comes rolled up in a box -- It does not come with a functional box (we recommend purchasing one of our custom trays).

How often should I order?

We recommend replacing your Fresh Patch every 1-4 weeks depending on the size of your pet and how frequently the product is being used.
We have plans offering delivery every week, every (2) weeks, every (3) weeks and every (4) weeks.
Switching between plans is easy once you setup an account with us!

Where can I use Fresh Patch?

Fresh Patch can be used indoors or outdoors. Common places are the Porch, Patio, Apartment, and Balcony.

If you keep your grass in these areas, you should cover the grass if it rains or move it indoors. We would also recommend using one of our plastic trays.

What is your shipping policy?

Fresh Patch is currently available in the United States with exception of Alaska, Puerto Rico and Hawaii.

Fresh Patch ships from California (Monday - Friday). California and West Coast orders generally take 1-2 business days to arrive. East Coast orders can take 3-5 business days. Orders placed before 1:00 PM PST will ship the same day.

**We recommend that East Coast customers place their orders on a Saturday, Sunday, or on Monday before our shipping cutoff (1:00pm PST / 4:00pm EST). This will ensure that your Fresh Patch will ship on a Monday and that it will not unnecessarily sit in a delivery truck over the weekend**

Can I pause my deliveries?

Yes! Simply log into your account to skip a delivery or arrange to have your shipment sent to another location.

What if there is a problem with my order?

If your order arrived damaged or you received the incorrect item please reach out to our customer service department so that we may remedy the situation as soon as possible.

During the summer months it is possible you may encounter a bug in the grass. This is because our grass is a real, living plant that is grown outdoors. If you happen to see a bug we recommend spraying your grass with water and a few drops of dish soap.

What is the cancellation policy?

We don't believe in making our customers sign long term contracts.

You can cancel your service anytime by contacting us by phone (1-800-783-7109) or emailing (service@freshpatch.com).
You can also cancel your service by logging into the customer portal and selecting the "Manage Your Subscription" option.

Because of the nature of our product, once a shipment has been processed we are unable to accept returns or issue a refund for that shipment.
